Flooded House in Baton Rouge,Lousiana

Due heavy rains more the 50% of Baton Rouge, Lousiana  was under water, SERVPRO of McAllen's Storm Team responded to this Catastrophe Event. This house spent more than 9 days under water and was obviously inaccessible.   When our team arrived, we found the entire house affected and reeking of stagnant water. The first phase was the inventory and removal of all furniture and belongings out of house, after the house was empty, the storm team proceeded to remove drywall, doors, baseboards, cabinets and insulation. Once the demolition was complete, the technicians cleaned, dissinfected and setup drying equipment. It took 5 days to dry this Home.
